GoogleGoogleGoogleGoogle

Quadruple Google?  No, my keyboard isn't stuck.  This is actually a hot search trend on Google.com right now.  But why?

Someone has purchased the domain name googlegooglegooglegoogle.com, and has made a web page that is split into 4 sections that will allow you to do 4 Google searches all at once!

But why would anyone want to do 4 google searches at once?  Could possibly be good for research purposes if you needed to do a lot of searching, but couldn't you just open 4 tabs and have a Google search going on each one of them?

The website is not owned or in any way affiliated with Google, Inc, but was rather just a random idea when one of the creators wondered if GoogleGoogle.com was taken (which it was).

The Mysterious Mystery Behind Google Mystery is.....

...well nothing really.

Mystery Google is a site that Google has put together to be mysterious. Really all it does is give you the last search results of the person before you, regardless of what you type in as your search.

So if you put in "Target Black Friday Ads" on Mystery Google, and the person before you put in "How to bake a turkey", their search results are what you get.

Not really being a useful tool, but just a little fun...for some.

Check it out at http://www.mysterygoogle.com/

Busted at the Cannabis Community College in Oregon

That's a headline that I can imagine being seen at some point in the near future, or "Busted at the Cannabis Cafe in Oregon".  Or maybe a headline could read, "Busted at the Marijuana Cafe".

But President Obama has advised law enforcement agencies to NOT arrest patrons of the Cannabis Cafe in Oregon due to his agenda of relaxing the laws on cannabis use for medicinal purposes.  The cannabis is said to be used for such medical conditions as diabetes, Alzheimer's, Tourette's syndrome, and multiple sclerosis.  There is even to be a Cannabis Community College to educate those who use the drug on "subjects" such as growing their own marijuana and other uses.

It almost sounds like an old Cheech and Chong bit from long ago, but it is going on now, right here in America.  The "bud" is free, and food is also served at this pot cafe where members pay $25 monthly for the facility use.

What's that DVD made of?

Does your DVD collection "rock"?

Now it can, with an emerging technology of DVD's made of synthetic rock.....yes.....ROCK.  But this won't likely be the kind of DVDs you use for your favorite episodes of House, or your favorite movie such as the Wizard of Oz, or Three Men and a Baby.

These seem to be created more for long term archive purposes.

Brought to you by the company "Cranberry" naming the product "DiamonDisc", these new DVDs are touted as able to last 1,000 years.  This is because they won't easily deteriorate from UV rays or heat as ordinary discs would.

And, with a current price tag of $5000 for a disc drive and 150 discs, I'm pretty sure you also won't see these in any of the upcoming 2009 or even 2010 Black Friday ads :)

Top 10 Ways to NOT Get Kicked Out of Walmart

It's funny what becomes a hot search trend....

According to Google, one of today's top 40 searches has been:

"101 ways to get kicked out of walmart"

Really?

Yes, really. The web has been flooded with forums, youtube videos and more on this topic.

So, with no further ado, I present a list given to me by a former Walmart employee:

10 ways to NOT get kicked out of walmart

1. Wear a shirt, pants or shorts, and shoes when you walk in (oh, and yes, keep them on)
2. Don't make fun of what other people have in their carts, even if it's an odd combination of item.
3. Don't switch the tags around on items.
4. Don't say anything negative about the food items.
5. Stay out of other people's carts.
6. Do not put things in other people's carts.
7. Do not cut in front of others at the cash register aisles.
8. Don't try to get the cashier to laugh by odd collections that you have in your cart (like bungee cords, a bicycle helmet, Slick 50 engine treatment, a ceiling fan, and bandages)
9. Walk, don't run.
10. Do not ask to keep your coupon because it has sentimental value after it's been processed.
