"Toy Story 3 Happy Meal Toys"

We are on our way to see the long awaited Toy Story 3 movie in 3D at an IMAX theater today!

My kids are excited, and I have to admit, I'm really looking forward to it as well.

So the big questions on many people's minds are "When will Toy Story 3 Happy Meal Toys be available?" or "Will McDonald's have Toy Story 3 Happy Meal Toys?"

You KNOW McDonald's will have these in the near future, and with this weekend being the opening weekend for Toy Story 3, it has to be in the VERY near future!

What toy do you think McDonald's will put in the Happy Meals?  Will it be:

  • Toy Story 3 Ken
  • Toy Story 3 BuzzLightYear (Buzz Lightyear)
  • Toy Story 3 Woody

iPad Tutorial: "How do I reset by iPad?"

We've all heard of the iPad by now.  We've seen the iPad reviews, the iPad problems, the iPad disappointments (should there be an iPad recall?), and many of you may have already received yours.

One commonly asked question that I am seeing is "how do i restart my iPad?"

It's such a new trend, that Google automatically prompts you with "Did you mean how do I restart my ipod?"

A helpful tutorial on the topic can be found here:

The Lip Reading Cell Phone of the Future

New technology is always a popular trend, and this latest invention from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology will show you why.

Have you ever sat in a movie theater, and heard someone's cell phone ring, even after the repeated "Please silence your cell phone" messages that are now played before the movie?  To make matters worse, have you ever sat in a movie theater, and after you heard the cell phone ring, the person actually answered it and carried on a conversation right there during the movie?

This is a major pet peeve of mine as I'm sure it is yours, but there may be hope beyond just thinking people will one day have a little respect.

It's a lip reading cell phone that is currently under development that will make "silent communication" possible by you simply moving your lips to the words you would normally speak out loud.

Not a lot of information is being given out as to how it all works yet since it is still in development, and all of the wires connected to a person's lips as shown on the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology website don't make it look very appealing, but all of those wires are simply for demo purposes as the technology is further developed.

You Can Have My Starbucks When You Pry It From My Cold Dead Fingers...

..well ok, maybe that's a little extreme, but fitting given that Starbucks locations DO NOT make gun packing patrons keep their weapons outside (in states where it is legal to do so).

Even though businesses in those states do have the right to forbid customers from bringing weapons into the store, Starbucks has chosen not to. Hows THAT for "the starbucks experience"?

This is good news to patrons who like to exercise their right to bear arms...even while in while getting their Starbucks coffee.  And, it may be even more of a reason not to mess with someone before they've had their morning coffee :)

Did you know that you can a $10 Starbucks Gift Card by shopping at the StarbucksStore online?  With MyPoints, a free points per dollar program, you can earn 3 points per dollar toward Starbucks gift cards (as well as other places you love to shop) by shopping that you do anyway.  Do more with your money, check out MyPoints:

"Be My Valentine Charlie Brown" is a trendy classic for any Charlie Brown fan.

The infamous character is disappointed in his love lacking life, especially on Valentine's Day.  This special has aired for years on television, providing family friendly entertainment--how many shows can you say that about today?

A remastered edition on DVD also includes 2 extra specials:  "You're in love, Charlie Brown" and "It's Your First Kiss, Charlie Brown".

    "Watch the A-Team Online Free"

FoxNews did a story about the A-Team and what they are up to now.

This got me thinking back to one of my old time favorite TV shows, the A-Team. The one thing I do remember about the 80's show is that the violence was very mild, and no one was ever killed! This made it a great show for younger viewers who are looking for a hero.

That same show can be seen online for free at Fancast.com. Just remember, "I ain't gettin' on no plane, FOOL!"
