Where To Find Cheap Board Games

So far, my experience still tells me that Amazon is one of the best places to get cheap board games. As I wrote in my last post, I've checked around, and have found better prices there than anyone else. Your experience could differ based on the game you're looking for, or even what a cheap board game price is for you. Another recent purchase I made is "Dead Men Tell No Tales". It was about $30, which is still pretty inexpensive for a board game considering the prices of many adventure based role playing games.

I now have a small collection of cheap board games and I look forward to finding more. My small collection so far includes: Forbidden Island (around $12) Forbidden Desert (around $22) Dead Men Tell No Tales (around $30) I'm considering getting Dead of Winter next, which runs about $45. It's still not too bad for a price for me, though I'm considering anything over $50 no longer in the cheap board game realm.

Where Can I Buy Cheap Board Games?

Have board games really ever gone out of style? I think they will always be a trend. Most of us at least have a few dusty board games in a closet or on a shelf somewhere.

A friend of mine recently introduced me to a different realm of board games where they are like mini adventures and sometimes can take several hours to play.

So with my new found fascination with role-playing, tile based, or card building board games, I wanted to find out, "Where Can I Buy Cheap Board Games?"

A lot of the board games that I play at my friend's house are kind of pricey, with average prices of $50 or more. That doesn't always fit in my budget, and I'm wanting to build up my collection.

I've searched eBay, Google, Amazon, and some other sites, but for me, the answer to find cheap board games is really Amazon for me. I have an Amazon Prime account, so not only do I get 2 day shipping, but most of the time it is also free shipping!

Recent games I've purchased that I consider cheap board games (only in price, not in quality) are: Forbidden Island Forbidden Desert Yes, they are both made my the same Company, but I was able to get Forbidden Island on Amazon with free shipping for around $12 and Forbidden Desert was about $22. So I basically bought 2 games for less than $50!
